Hi Thomas. Good to hear you are planning to give your home club a bit of a write up. Personally i think the club should have a website of it's own, and considering the club account is still very healthy, I think now is as good a time as any to put the wheels in motion. I will give it a mention at the next meeting. keep up the good work and I will catch up with you at Bright hopefully over the coming weeks. ps. Don't believe a word that Bobby has spoken about me. I have been working almost every weekend since the start of the year. Certainly helps the bank balance, but does nothing to improve my game. All the best, Donal.

Type your comment here. In general agreement with your comments. We played in june 07 and found the greens to be amazing considering their short lifespan. Our major critcism centered on the belief that the course played quite short and that the indicies (spelling?) were heavily favoured for the par fives. ie low index=par five=good chance of big points=warm feeling. In this respect it is similar to the resort courses of Spain, Portugal etc but this may just be the nature of golf/hotel combos. Ps We found a gem...Ballinrobe, we practically played for nothing (open fairways) and even cancelled a pre booked (and paid for) course to play it a second time. Look forward to hearing your opinion on that one. Great website by the way - very useful for planning next trip. Cheers.

Hi,Clive,
It was good to meet you again and learn of your golfing exploits which I will follow with interest. I would be interesting to see your comments on the courses you visited before you set up the web-site. Have you any plans to do this?
Please let me know if you would like the photo of Thomas receiving the visitors prize from our Captain Ken Ellis to add to your gallery.
Best wishes,
Wesley McCamley

Where is report on Fintona? !!
By the way found a report in a 1998 Golf magazine that somebody called Kevin Toner had visited 120 golf courses in Ireland

Hi Guys

Mark here just to give ye a quick shout, that I mentioned ye in my speech for winning the Junior Scratch Cup. Give me a shout if you are in my neck of the woods again.
